The Roseburg VA Health Care System is having the Homeless Stand Down this Wednesday, September 11th.

A VA release said the event has dozens of resources to help veterans with a number of local organizations participating. That includes the United Community Action Network, Adapt, Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center, Fly Fishing Veterans and many others.

Vaccines, dental checks, haircuts, massages and many other services will be provided to those who need them.

Vendors will check in and set up from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. followed by opening ceremonies at 9:00 a.m. Resource stations will be open from 9:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

All veterans must register when they arrive.
