The Homestead Complex, burning on the Umpqua National Forest, is up by 1,000 acres to 8,649 acres as of midday Monday. It remains 60 percent contained.
A UNF update said fire behavior remains very active throughout the complex.
Sunday on the 2,539 acres Horse Heaven Creek Fire crews were putting in direct line and mopping up around a number of spot fires that crossed the 3831 Road. Crews continued improving handline and mopping up around a slopover that occurred on the first day of firing on the west side of the planned burnout area.
The Fuller Lake Fire is now 2,835 acres and 5 percent contained. It has progressed to the north and joined with the Bullpup Fire at its southern flanks. A third operations division has been added to manage the very active eastern flank of the Fuller Lake Fire.
*The No Man Fire is 2,081 acres and 28 percent contained
*The Bullpup Fire is 501 acres and 17 percent contained
