In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Umpqua Community College Performing and Visual Arts presents a Music Educators Extravaganza on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. in the Swanson Amphitheatre on the UCC campus.

Local secondary school music educators will perform live with the UCC music faculty.

This will include band and choir directors from Roseburg High School, Sutherlin High School, South Umpqua High School, Douglas High School, North Douglas High School, Phoenix Charter School, JoLane Middle School and Fremont Middle School.

The concert will feature a wide range of styles including classical, jazz and Americana. Attendees can bring their chair or blankets to enjoy the outdoor event.

Admission is free.
