Sutherlin Police jailed a woman following a reported assault incident on Tuesday night.

An SPD report said at 9:10 p.m. the 27-year-old trespassed at a residence in the 200 block of West Third Avenue. She reportedly fought with a juvenile, causing damage to his airway. The woman left prior to an officer arriving.

She was located later at Hastings Village and charged with strangulation and second-degree criminal trespass. The woman was detained without bail.
