Troopers with Oregon State Police jailed a woman following a DUII crash on Wednesday afternoon.

An OSP report said at approximately 1:10 p.m. troopers responded to the wreck about 2 miles west of Winston. The 67-year-old operator of a westbound pickup had lost control of the vehicle at a high rate of speed, and spun into the on-coming lane of travel before the vehicle struck a pole and came to an uncontrolled rest on the eastbound shoulder of the highway.

The pickup was reported as a driving complaint prior to the crash. The operator showed signs and symptoms of impairment. She was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. The woman was detained without bail.

Winston Police Department assisted at the accident scene.
