ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said just after 11:00 a.m. the 72-year-old was discharged from the Emergency Room at CHI Mercy Medical Center on Northwest Stewart Parkway. Security transported him to a nearby bus stop. The man allegedly broke a stop sign in the parking lot of Mercy, threw his belongings into the road and started walking in traffic.

Security officers physically removed him from the road, and he sat with them until police officers arrived. The man was charged with second-degree counts of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. He was detained on $8,750 bail.
