Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man for unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle on Wednesday night.

A DCSO report said at 6:50 p.m. a deputy received information about the 2011 Mercedes. After following it briefly, the vehicle stopped in the 300 block of Northeast Ward Avenue in Roseburg. The driver, a 34-year-old man, was taken into custody. He was detained without bail and was released on Thursday.
