The Umpqua National Forest has a new forest closure order in effect, as of Wednesday.
A UNF release said it opens some previously closed areas from the previous closure order. The new order impacts parts of the Cottage Grove, Diamond Lake, and North Umpqua Ranger districts. On the Tiller Ranger District, select roads in the Dixon Fire footprint remain closed under an administrative order, as firefighters continue work in the area.
The updated exemptions in the new closure order include Watson Falls Trail and Trailhead, Eagle Rock Campground, and Boulder Flat Campground and Boat Launch. Boulder Creek trail remains closed.
All closure information can be found on the UNF website: Umpqua National Forest – Alerts & Closures (usda.gov)
