Roseburg Police charged a man with second-degree criminal mischief following an incident on Tuesday night.

An RPD report said at 10:20 p.m. the 28-year-old was contacted at the Public Safety Center in the 700 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue. An officer found the man had allegedly damaged a card scanner leading into the fire station.

He was detained on $3,000 bail.
