South Umpqua School District is seeking to fill one vacant position on its Board of Education for Zone 2 Position 2.

The applicant selected will serve in the position through June 30th, 2025, when the current term ends.

Candidates must be legally registered voters, have a Myrtle Creek address, and must have lived in the district for at least one year before the selection. Candidates may not be an employee of the district, including substitutes.

Those interested can submit a letter of interest for the board position through September 27th. The South Umpqua School Board is expected to screen letters of interest at the board’s regular session on October 2nd.
