Roseburg Police jailed a man for a release agreement violation on Monday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 p.m. the 70-year-old was let out of jail on an agreement he signed stating that he could not contact the victims from a prior incident. The man reportedly walked to a victim’s house and spoke with two of the victims before walking away. Officers contacted the suspect near the victim’s residence. The man admitted to talking to the victims and acknowledged signing the release agreement.

He was taken into custody and was detained without bail.
