The Diamond Complex, burning on the Umpqua National Forest, is now 72 percent contained, and remains at 11,152 acres.
A UNF update said fire lines were tested Monday by the decrease of relative humidity and dryer conditions, leading to a 4 percent increase in containment. There was an increase in smoke activity due to drier temperatures. Suppression repairs are continuing on the fully contained fires, which restores areas impacted by firefighting efforts.
