SUMMER WEATHER RETURNS TO SOUTHERN OREGON

After some cooler temperatures and rain last week, summer weather has returned to the Umpqua Valley.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the region will see at or above normal temperatures this week. Roseburg is expected to make it to the upper 80’s Monday before cooling to the low to mid 80’s Tuesday and Wednesday. The region is forecast to heat up between Thursday and Saturday. Highs in Roseburg are predicted to be in the low to mid 90s while Grants Pass and Medford are expected to reach near the triple digits. The region is forecast to cool slightly for Sunday and Labor Day.

Sunday’s high temperature was 82 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
