Roseburg Police jailed a man for reported criminal trespass on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 9:30 a.m. officers contacted the 41-year-old in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street after he had been served an exclusion notice. He was detained without issue and his probation officer requestion that the man be jailed for committing a new crime.

The suspect was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and for a probation violation. Bail was set at $1,250.
