A section of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard from Northwest Aviation Drive to Northeast Stephens Street is closed through early Monday while a City of Roseburg contractor and Central Oregon and Pacific Railroad replace the Edenbower Boulevard railroad crossing.

A city release said that section of Edenbower Boulevard will be closed until approximately 6:00 a.m. Monday as a contractor does the work.

Traffic control signs are in place to detour motorists around the closure. Traffic moving east on Edenbower Boulevard is required to detour onto Aviation Drive to access Stephens Street. Westbound traffic is detoured around the closure using Northwest Stewart Parkway and Aviation Drive, or by using Hooker Road to Aviation Drive.

Sunday night, after the railroad company has completed its work, Knife River Materials will pave the asphalt approaches to the concrete crossing panels.
