A Myrtle Creek woman was cited for third-degree theft by Roseburg Police Wednesday night.

An RPD report said at 7:00 p.m. officers responded after a caller said a shoplifter had been detained at Goodwill, in the 2400 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Loss prevention staff told an officer that they detained the woman for stealing $22 in merchandise. The woman admitted to taking the items without paying for them. They were recovered. and returned to the business.

The woman was released after being given the citation.
