Covering coastal Douglas County:

Due to lower temperatures: campfires, warming fires, fire pits, charcoal fires or fire in a commercially produced container for cooking or other non-debris burning activities, are now permitted within the City of Reedsport.

A city release said no permit is required. Residents are asked to keep campfires safely located away from combustible materials, keep the fire small, use dry wood, and do not leave the fire unattended. When finished, put the fire out completely. Watch the direction of the smoke as it is regulated by city regulations.

Commercially produced containers using liquified or bottled fuels are allowed.

Fire season is still in effect. Burn barrel or debris burning is not allowed within the Reedsport city limits.
