FISH AND WILDLIFE SEEKING INFORMATION ABOUT COW ELK KILLING

The Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Division is seeking the public’s help in identifying the person or persons responsible for the killing and waste of a cow elk in Douglas County.

An OSP report said the preliminary investigation indicated the animal was shot and left to waste in a clear-cut area near milepost 5 on Burnt Mountain Road on or around August 9th.

Anyone with information is asked to contact OSP’s Southern Command Center by calling 800-442-2068. Those with information can remain anonymous and a TIP reward for cash or preference points will be offered for information leading to a citation or arrest in the case.
