A Drain man was jailed for a warrant and on a drug charge by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Friday night.
A DCSO report said just before 6:30 p.m. a deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Cedar Street and West B Street in Drain. The 40-year-old driver was suspended through the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles. He was determined to be a wanted person out of Douglas County Circuit Court.
The driver was placed in handcuffs. During a search of his person, the deputy reportedly located a small amount of methamphetamine inside his pants pocket. The total gross weight of the substance was 4.1 grams. The man was taken to corrections and held for the warrant and on a charge of unlawful possession of meth. He was detained without bail.
