ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

Roseburg Police cited a man after a traffic stop on Thursday.

An RPD report said at approximately 9:15 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 2000 block of Northeast Diamond Lae Boulevard. They observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. The driver, a 33-year-old Myrtle Creek man, consented to a search of the vehicle. Officers reportedly located a bindle with suspected methamphetamine and a Glock handgun under the seat.

The man was cited for carrying a concealed weapon, and for a violation amount of meth. He was cited in lieu of custody.
