Sutherlin Police jailed a man following a reported disturbance Wednesday morning.

An SPD report said just after 7:00 a.m. The 55-year-old allegedly pushed a victim into a door during an argument at a residence in the 100 block of East Fourth Avenue. The incident was witnessed by others.

The victim wanted to pursue charges for harassment. The suspect allegedly resisted being taken into custody. He was charged with harassment and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $5,000.
