Roseburg could see the first measurable rain since mid-June on Saturday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that strong low pressure will drop in from the north, leading to instability and the possibility of rain and maybe even thunderstorms.

Roseburg saw two days with trace amounts of precipitation in July, but the last measurable rain was recorded in a three-day period from June 15th to 17th. The potential for rain is limited to Saturday with sunshine back for the foreseeable future beginning Sunday.
