HOMESTEAD COMPLEX GROWS TO 4,979 ACRES, 25 PERCENT CONTAINED

The Homestead Complex, in the Umpqua National Forest, has grown to 4,979 acres, with an overall containment of 25 percent.

A UNF update said 600 people are currently assigned to the fire.

The largest of the seven fires in the complex are:

*No Man Fire: 1,779 acres

*Horse Heaven Creek Fire: 1,770 acres

*Bullpup Fire: 443 acres

*Fuller Lake Fire: 372 acres

*Reynolds Butte Fire: 335 acres

The forecast calls for cooler temperatures and higher humidity.
