On Monday, the Umpqua National Forest issued a closure order in the Tiller Ranger District in response to the Dixon Fire.

A UNF release said this closure order is in addition to other closure orders which are still in effect to protect public and wildland firefighter safety. Under the new closure order these acts are prohibited upon trails and general forest areas within the UNF:

*Being on the road

*Going into or being upon an area for the protection of public health and safety

*Being on a trail
