ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOLLOWING ALLEGED TRESPASS INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a woman following an alleged trespass incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at 7:15 a.m. 43-year-old Darlene Bentley refused to leave the Samaritan Inn, in the 500 block of West Umpqua Street, even after being given multiple chances to do so. While on the facility’s property Bentley reportedly threw a flowerpot on the sidewalk leaving soil everywhere.

She was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief, along with a probation violation. Bentley was detained on $1,250 bail.
