Crews with the Oregon Department of Transportation have finished rock scaling work along Interstate 5 ahead of schedule.

Dan Latham of ODOT said the amount of work needed was less than anticipated. Latham said rolling slowdowns between mileposts 101 and 89 in the Canyonville area are no longer necessary this week.
