OR230 REDUCED TO ONE LANE FOR TEN MILES NEAR OR138

The Oregon Department of Transportation has announced that OR-230, Diamond Lake Highway, is reduced to one lane for ten miles during daytime hours.

Julie Denney of ODOT said this is between mileposts 13 and 23, near the intersection with the North Umpqua Highway, also known as Highway 138E. Denny said pilot cars are shuttling traffic in one lane to help provide safe access for fire operations on the Middle Fork Fire.

The fire itself is not currently near the highway. Motorists should expect delays and should be watching for workers in the area. Get updates at www.tripcheck.com
