It’s day three of the Douglas County Fair.
Admission is free with “Dress a Veggie” at the main gate from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. sponsored by True North Restoration. Kids aged 12 and under are admitted for free all day, every day, sponsored by the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe on Indians. Teens get in for $2 off every day when they bring canned food.
The Coastal Farm & Ranch Challenge of Champions Tour takes place in the Cascade Community Credit Union Grandstands. The gates open at 7:00 p.m. with the event starting at 7:30 p.m. The News Review Garden Park stage has local music throughout the day. Roaming acts play 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
4-H and FFA activities take place all day. Commercial buildings are open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Carnival rides begin at 12:00 p.m.
Free buses to the fairgrounds operate from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Buses are available at Roseburg High School and the First Student lot in the Green District. Fairgrounds parking it $10 per vehicle.
The fairgrounds close at 11:00 p.m.
