The Douglas County Fair continues Thursday.
Members of the armed forces and first responders get in free until 5:00 p.m., sponsored by Roseburg Forest Products. Kids aged 12 and under are admitted for free all day every day, sponsored by the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians. Teens get in for $2 off every day when they bring canned food.
Country group Parmalee will play at the Cascade Community Credit Union Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. The News Review Garden Park stage has local music throughout the day. Roaming acts play from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
4-H and FFA activities take place all day. Commercial buildings open at 11:00 a.m. Carnival rides begin at 12:00 p.m.
Free buses to the fairgrounds operate from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Buses are available at Roseburg High School and the First Student lot in the Green District. Fairgrounds parking is $10 per vehicle.
The fairgrounds close at 11:00 p.m.
