The Homestead Complex is up to 2,851 acres, with containment at 14 percent.

An Umpqua National Forest update said 455 people are working on the fire.

The forecast again includes smoke and hazy conditions in the valley and sheltered drainages. Temperatures are expected to be in the 70s to mid-80s in the higher elevations and in the mid-80s to lower 90s in the lower elevations.
