The Diamond Complex on the Umpqua National Forest remains at 6,630 acres with 647 people assigned.
The Middle Fork Fire is 2,527 acres, with 1 percent contained. 34 people are assigned to the fire, but the Diamond Complex is sharing resources as needed. Crater Lake National Park remains open.
A bigger uptick in fire activity is expected due to the continued warming and drying trend. Areas of smoke may have an impact on fire behavior, cooling temperatures slightly and keeping humidity higher than expected.
