A full-sized SUV eluded deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Saturday night.

A DCSO report said shortly after 8:00 p.m. a deputy attempted to stop the vehicle for violations as it was coming into Glendale near the intersection of Glendale Valley Road and Azalea Glen Road. It failed to yield and turned around and headed towards Interstate 5. Units engaged in a pursuit with the SUV heading southbound on the freeway. The vehicle exited the freeway two miles south of Glendale and went out Speaker Road and onto multiple Bureau of Land Management roads. Deputies ended up losing sight of the vehicle due to a large amount of dust.

The driver was described as a white male adult, approximately 30-years old, with blonde spikey hair.
