A Canyonville woman was jailed for alleged harassment on Saturday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 7:00 p.m. a victim called and said she had been attacked by a 35-year-old woman in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 600 block of Stagecoach Road.

A deputy contacted the victim who had injuries to her face and swollen lips.  Another resident had witnessed the event and broke up the fight. The deputy contacted the suspect who admitted to being in an altercation with the victim. She was charged with harassment and was detained without bail.
