Roseburg was just shy of tying the record high temperature for the date on Thursday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the mercury reached 100 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The record high for August 1st was 102 degrees, set in 2017.

High temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid 90s for at least the next week.
