A Camas Valley man was jailed following an alleged assault incident Thursday night.

A DCSO report said at 11:00 p.m. the 23-year-old was allegedly involved in a physical disturbance with the victim in the 1000 block of Denn Road after she dumped out some alcohol. The victim was reportedly punched several times and spit on. The suspect also spit on another victim when she tried to pull him off the first victim.

The man was charged with fourth-degree assault and two counts of harassment. He was detained without bail.
