Roseburg Police jailed a man Monday for a parole violation for failure to report.

An RPD report said at 7:00 p.m. officers contacted the 34-year-old during a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Officers learned the man was wanted by his parole officer. A detainer was authorized, and the man was taken into custody. He was detained without bail.
