Greater Douglas United Way has the 42nd annual Dave Johnson Memorial Golf Tournament on September 12th.

It will be held at Bar Run Golf & RV Resort, west of Roseburg.

Proceeds from the tournament will contribute to the Greater Douglas United Way annual fundraising campaign thanks to generous loyal sponsors, enthusiastic golfers, volunteers and United Way staff.

The event is sponsored by Oregon Pacific Bank, Banner Bank, Umpqua Bank, U.S. Bank, Cascade Community Credit Union and Oregon Community Credit Union. The tournament is a 4-person scramble with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start.

During the tournament, hole-in-one contests will provide the opportunity for golfers to win a Harley Davidson, golf clubs and apparel packages or a golf vacation.

An awards presentation, snacks and a meal will also be part of the day’s festivities.

Team and individual reservations can be made by calling Greater Douglas United Way at 672-1734. Entry fee is $125 per player. The field is limited to 36 teams.
