ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN AFTER OVERNIGHT DISTURBANCE

Roseburg Police jailed a man after an overnight disturbance early Thursday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 a.m. officers contacted 38-year- old Aaron Schwab after he was allegedly involved in an altercation with two victims in the 500 block of West Harrison Street. Schwab reportedly threatened one victim while holding a piece of metal and allegedly grabbed and pushed her.

Schwab left his residence and tried to get inside one victim’s recreational vehicle before she pushed him away. During the incident, Schwab allegedly slammed the RV door on the arm of one of the victims.

Officers also learned that Schwab had not updated his new address within ten days and had been living at the residence of one of the victims for the last two months.  He was taken into custody without incident.

Schwab was charged with two counts of harassment, second-degree criminal trespass, menacing and failure to register as a sex offender. He was detained without bail.
