The 39th annual Myrtle Creek Summer Festival runs Thursday through Sunday at Millsite Park in Myrtle Creek.

It is sponsored by the Myrtle Creek Lions Club.

The event includes live music, a children’s play area, a sand volleyball tournament, chili pepper eating contest, car show, a fear factor eating contest, and much more. Live music will be featured as well. There will be over 70 vendors on site.

A Main Street Parade takes place Saturday at 10:00 a.m. A music and fireworks show will begin at 10:00 p.m.
