Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported theft on Monday.

An RPD report said at 10:00 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after a caller said a man was shoplifting from the store. The 28-year-old left the business and was stopped shortly after. Officers took him into custody without incident and recovered all the stolen items.

The man was charged with theft in the second-degree. Bail was set at $6,250.
