Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged menacing incident on Monday.

An RPD report said just after 8:20 p.m. the 29-year-old was contacted after he allegedly threatened several people with a knife at Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive.

After he was taken into custody, the man reportedly resisted arrest. He was charged with menacing and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $18,750.
