Twelve fires known as the Diamond Complex in the Umpqua National Forest are now at an estimated 2,816 acres, as of Monday.

A UNF release said 236 personnel are assigned to the fires.

The largest fires in the complex are:

*Pine Bench: 1.107 acres and zero percent contained. It is north of Highway 138 near Dry Creek.

*Trail: 744 acres and 5 percent contained. It is east of Highway 138 on the west slope of Mt. Thielsen.

*Lemolo: 373 acres and zero percent contained. It is north of Lemolo Lake on Bunker Hill.

*Potter: 242 acres and zero percent contained. It is north of Highway 138, about two miles southeast of Potter Mountain.

All other fires in the complex range from 3 acres to 95 acres.

Warmer, drier weather is expected to continue into Wednesday. Extremely dry fuels and rugged, steep terrain add to challenging fire behavior.
