ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR BIKE PATH DUII

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a DUII incident on the bike path early Sunday.

An RPD report said just after 1:30 a.m. 30-year-old Easton Bartley was contacted as he was driving a large SUV on the path in the area of Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. The man was reportedly visibly impaired. Bartley admitted to drinking and allegedly performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests.

He was also suspended at the misdemeanor level. Bartley had not reported his address change to the Oregon State Police for his sex offender registry and had also not reported to OSP since July 22nd of 2022.

Bartley was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving while suspended, a felony count of failure to register as a sex offender and for warrants. Bartley was detained without bail.
