Several new fire starts were confirmed on the Umpqua National Forest on Thursday.
A UNF update shows:
*Trail Fire – Just east of Diamond Lake. Trail Fire is estimated at 1,000 to 1,200 acres. Multiple crews and engines are assigned to the incident. Evacuations on the Trail Fire can be found on the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DouglasCoSO
*Pig Iron Fire – New confirmed start. Estimated at 4 acres.
*Chilcoot Fire – New confirmed start. Estimated at 40 acres
*Lemolo Fire – Estimated at 15 acres. Evacuations for the Lemolo Fire can be found on the DCSO Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DouglasCoSO
*Bald Ridge – New confirmed start. Estimated at 0.25 acres
*Spring Fire – New confirmed start. Estimated at 0.1 acres. An engine is on site. 100 percent lined and contained.
*Shadow Fire – New confirmed start. Estimated at 3 to 5 acres. Douglas Forest Protective Association and Forest Service resources are on site.
*Adam Mountain Fire – New confirmed start. Estimated at 50 acres.
*Horse Heaven Creek Fire – New confirmed start. Estimated at 3.5 acres.
*Lost Bucket Fire – Estimated at 0.1 acres. DFPA and UNF resources are on site.
*Watson Fire – New confirmed start. Estimated at 10 acres
*Jack Saddle Fire – Estimated at 0.5 acres. Hose lay around 30 percent. 30 to 40 percent contained. DFPA and Forest Service resources are on site.
*White Creek Fire – Estimated at 0.25 acres. 100 percent lined and contained.
*Puddin Fire – Estimated at 0.8 acres. 100 percent contained.
*Clearwater Fire – New confirmed start. Estimated at 0.10 acres. 100 percent lined.
*Slide Fire – Estimated at 0.5 acres. 100 percent lined.
*Tucker Fire – 100 percent contained
*Donegan Fire – 100 percent contained
*Cultus Fire – Estimated at 1.1. acres. 75 percent contained.
