Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported prior assault incident Thursday afternoon.
An RPD report said on Wednesday officers responded to a disturbance that occurred in the 500 block of Northeast Lincoln Street. A victim reported that 28-year-old Duke Todd took him to the residence and struck him several times while wearing brass knuckles, causing injuries.
Todd was contacted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. and was found to be in possession of brass knuckles, concealed in his pocket. He is a convicted felon in Oregon. Duke was charged with second-degree assault, being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and for a probation violation. He was detained without bail.
