Roseburg Police jailed a man for driving suspended on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 p.m. officers contacted the 61-year-old after watching him drive his car into a parking lot at the corner of Southeast Rose Street and Southeast Mosher Avenue. The officer discovered the man had his license suspended.

The man was placed in handcuffs and taken into custody. He was charged with a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended. Bail was set at $6,250.
