Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged weapon violation on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 10:50 p.m. multiple people said a male neighbor was shooting a pellet gun at them in the 1900 block of West Bertha Avenue.  One person said she could hear ricochets from the pellets all around her and her friends as they were outside her residence. 70-year-old Douglas Morris was identified by two people as the pellet shooter. He was ultimately arrested and taken into custody.

Morris was charged with three counts of recklessly endangering another person and a weapon violation. He was detained without bail.
