Roseburg Police cited a man for an alleged theft incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 4:10 p.m. the 34-year-old was contacted behind Sherm’s Thunderbird in the 2100 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The man allegedly had his possessions inside a shopping cart which came from the business.

The man was warned last week that if he was contacted with a shopping cart, he would be cited for theft. He was cited for second-degree theft and was released. The cart was returned to Sherm’s.
