On Sunday afternoon, the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s office activated Douglas County for a Conflagration on the Falls Fire near Burns.

A release from Central Douglas Fire & Rescue said the task force includes equipment and personnel from CDF&R, Riddle Fire District, North Douglas County Fire & EMS, Tenmile Fire District and Lookingglass Fire District. The task force will be providing structure protection, infrastructure protection and assisting firefighters.
