A Sutherlin man was hospitalized after a Sunday accident.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 5:30 p.m. a juvenile driver pulled out in front of a second vehicle at the intersection of Fort McKay Road and Ashwood Street west of Sutherlin. This caused the second driver’s vehicle to t-bone the first vehicle.

The second driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for complaints of head pain. The driver who caused the accident was not injured. Both vehicles were damaged and had to be towed.
